Delete your account in the app

Deletion is immediate. You are signed out, and your account and its data are removed from our systems.

• Open BiblioSnap and sign in.
• Go to Profile, then Security.
• Choose Delete Account and confirm.

Delete your account by email

If you can no longer sign in, email support@bibliosnap.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify the request and delete the account, normally within 7 days.

What is deleted

• Your profile and preferences (name, email address, shipping address, username).
• Your library, shelves, notes and reading history.
• Your marketplace listings, orders and in-app messages.
• Photos and files you uploaded.
• Your authentication record, so you can no longer sign in.

What we keep, and for how long

We keep a limited set of records only where the law requires it — for example transaction and payment records for tax and accounting, and a minimal audit log recording that an account was deleted. These are retained only as long as the law requires and are not used for any other purpose. Everything else is removed when you delete your account.

Automatic deletion of inactive accounts

If an account is inactive we send reminders and then delete it automatically: a first notice at 30 days, a reminder at 60 days, and a final notice at 90 days, after which the account and its data are deleted. Signing in at any point before deletion keeps the account.
