BiblioSnap — Your personal library, digitized.

BiblioSnap is a home for physical book collections. Point your camera at a barcode or a cover and the book is identified, catalogued and shelved in your personal library — no typing, no spreadsheets.

It works in a web browser at app.bibliosnap.com and as an iOS and Android app, so the same library is with you on the sofa, in a bookshop, or at a car-boot sale.

What you can do with it

  • Scan to catalogue — add books one at a time by barcode or cover, or photograph a whole shelf and let AI identify several books at once.
  • Organise your library — shelves, genres, reading status, "Saved for Later" wishlists, loans to friends and archives of books you have passed on.
  • Track your reading — a "My Stats" dashboard for what you own, what you have read and how your collection is growing.
  • Get suggestions — AI-powered "For You" recommendations drawn from the books you already own.
  • Buy and sell — list books on the BiblioSnap marketplace, with escrowed payments, tracked shipping and payouts to your own account.

How it works

  • Create a free account with your email, or with Google or Apple sign-in — no password required.
  • Scan a barcode or cover to add your first book (free accounts include monthly scan allowances).
  • Build out your shelves, mark what you are reading, and optionally list books for sale.

Plans

The Scribe plan is free forever and covers a personal collection with camera scanning and marketplace access. Scholar and Grand Archivist add unlimited scanning and storage, reading analytics and seller tools. Current pricing is on the pricing page.

Signing in, and what we receive

If you sign in with Google or Apple we receive only the basic profile those providers share — typically your name, email address and profile picture — and we use it solely to create and secure your BiblioSnap account. We never sell it or use it for advertising. The details are in our Privacy Policy.
