Terms of Service

Your account

By using BiblioSnap you agree to these Terms of Service. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure, and you must be old enough to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

You agree to give accurate account information and to keep it up to date.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, post unlawful content, infringe the rights of others, attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or interfere with the platform or other users.

Marketplace

BiblioSnap connects buyers and sellers of physical books. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for shipping. Payments are held in escrow until the dispute window passes; a platform commission applies per your membership tier, and funds are paid out to your connected Stripe account.

Disputes are handled through the in-app order process. We may remove listings or suspend accounts that break these terms or applicable law.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid tiers (Scholar, Grand Archivist) are billed through Stripe on the web and through the Apple App Store or Google Play in the mobile apps. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; manage or cancel through your Stripe account or your store account settings.

Where required by law you may have a right to a refund; store purchases follow the store policies.

Content

You retain ownership of the content you add and grant us a licence to host and display it as needed to operate the service.

Third-party services

BiblioSnap relies on third-party services (including Supabase, Stripe, RevenueCat, EasyPost, Resend and Sentry). Their terms may also apply to the parts of the service they provide.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, BiblioSnap is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using BiblioSnap and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if we must do so to comply with the law or protect the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which BiblioSnap is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top of the page shows the current version, and material changes are notified in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
